Ernst, das ist eine wunderschöne Arbeit - das einzige was etwas schade ist, ist dass das Holz der rechten Gesichtshälfte heller ist als das auf der linken Seite. Aber da steckt man nicht drin...

Alle Daumen hoch und auf zur nächsten Arbeit (wann schläfst Du?) :laugh:

Hier das fertige Werk.
Hölzer: Kirsch, Mahagoni, Nuss, Birke, Bankirai.
Schliff: K 180, dann Wässern und K 320.
Finish: Büffelbeize.
Diese Arbeit hat enormen Spass gemacht, nicht zuletzt
aufgrund eures regen Interesses.

Dein Feuerwehrmann sieht schon spitzenmäßig aus eine wahre Meisterleistung :(Y): :(Y): :(Y):

Bei meinem Hirsch mach ich das auch so ein bis drei Teile sägen dann schleifen und gleich zusammen leimen geht irgendwie einfacher
und die Teile passen besser

Mir gefällt das auch besser, weil man so besser sehen kann, wie die Arbeit Gestalt annimmt. Bei den Intarsia-Queens (Kathy Wise und JGR) ist das ein No-Go :laugh: . Unter diesen Bedingungen macht das noch mehr Spaß.

Das stimmt. Ich hab das diesmal so versucht. So kann ich beim herrichten des Holzes gleich die richtige Stärke zusägen. Ich bin zu dem Schluss gekommen, das ich so leichter arbeite, und es ist abwechslungsreicher.

Deine Präsentation ist beneidenswert perfekt - interessant finde ich, dass Du anscheinend Teile sägst und sie dann sofort schleifst. Ich versuche immer, mich zusammen zu reißen und erst alles auszusägen, bevor ich mich an meine Lieblingstätigkeit, das Schleifen, begebe.
