Segmentation

In contrast to intarsia the pieces are cut from a single slice of wood. The pieces are stained afterwards.

Im Gegensatz zu Intarsia werden bei der Segmentation die einzelnen Teile aus einem Stück Holz gesägt und anschließend eingefärbt.

Das Motiv gefällt mir gut. Es ist ein Glücksgriff, so ein schönes großes und interessant gemasertes Stück Olivenholz zu ergattern :)
